As part of President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian’s official trip to Minsk, August 2025, 12 cooperation documents were signed between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Belarus, covering a broad spectrum of areas including politics, international law, standardization, tourism, culture and media, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, industry, environment, free trade and special economic zones, and investment.
The signing of the memorandum of understanding between the Iran National Standards Organization (INSO) and the State Committee for Standardization of the Republic of Belarus (BELST) encompasses cooperation in the fields of standardization, metrology, and conformity assessment, with the aim of improving quality standards, removing trade barriers, facilitating economic exchanges, and encouraging broader economic cooperation between the two countries.
